Pelvic Pain

Pelvic Pain

We understand that pelvic pain can be a distressing experience.

The pain can originate from the bony parts of the pelvis; the sacro-iliac joint, the pubis or the coccyx. But often this pain also comes from the nerves and soft tissues in the pelvis, including vaginal pain and spasm and pain during intercourse.

Bladder Pain Syndrome or Interstital Cystitis can cause pain and urgency in the bladder and pain in the pelvic floor muscles, commonly when you need to go to the toilet. Physiotherapy can help with treating and helping you relax your pelvic floor muscles and help you settle the urgency in your bladder.
