M.H.Sc.(Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapy) B. App.Sc (Phty)
Penny is a senior associate of the Physio Posture Fitness Clinic, having worked as a physiotherapist for 20 years, and having completed her Masters in Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapy.
Penny’s particular interest is in movement analysis, postural assessment and biomechanics, having a personal background in dance, and professional experience assessing and treating high level athletes and the general public. Penny also has an interest in TMJ (Jaw) pain, and has worked with the University of Sydney’s School of Dentistry.
Penny combines her clinical practice with lecturing nationally and internationally, designing and presenting CEC accredited education programs for Health Professionals, Pilates Instructors and Personal Trainers. She is also a presenter with the Physio Coaching Academy Australia and the NSW School of Massage.
Penny’s favourite moment with her patients is when they have their “light bulb” moment – when they really understand what their body is telling them, and they are motivated to move beyond their pain or injury, and manage their own health and fitness.
When not in clinic, Penny will be found dancing, swimming, doing Pilates, going to the gym, and racing around after her son!
