Physio Consultations

Can I claim with my private Health Fund?

Yes, you can claim on the spot with your card if you are covered under the physiotherapy schedule of your private health fund. The balance of the consultation fee needs to be paid on the day of your session.

Can I claim the Physio session with Medicare (EPC)?

If you have set up an EPC (Enhanced Primary Care) program with your GP, you can claim your treatments. You are required to pay for your session in full, and then claim your rebate with Medicare. You will need to bring your form from your GP.

Do I need a referral from my GP to book an appointment?

No, you do not need a referral to book in to consult one of our Physios for treatment, Pre-Screening or to set up an Exercise Program.

WorkCover, Third Party, or Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) claims require a doctor’s referral.

What advanced notice is required if I need to cancel an appointment?

We require 24-hour notice if you need to cancel. Please note: the full-session fee will be automatically invoiced to your account – if we do not receive this advanced notice.

How long is a physio appointment?

This is dependent on how long you have had your current pain. We prefer to spend 45 or 60 minutes with you for an Initial Consultation and it is usually 30 minutes for your follow up session. This allows your Physio to treat and provide you with exercises and solutions to solve your pain.

Is there parking?

There is street parking next to the clinic on Clara street, Arthur St or Belmore Rd. Royal Randwick Shopping Centre is a walking distance from our clinic and has 2 hours of free parking.

Please allow enough time for parking before your appointment

Can I claim the PGS with my private health fund?

What should I bring and wear?
