PPFC Pilates Classes & Physio Gym
Pilates and Physio Gym schedule for 2014
At PPFC, we have our own gym and exercise studio, where you can work through your own individual exercise program, or join a class to help improve your strength, stability and flexibility.
What is the difference between a Pilates Class and a PGS?
In a PGS, your physiotherapist will have designed a personalised exercise program to assist you to overcome your pain or injury, which you work through, supervised by a physiotherapist, in a group of 4-6 people.
To join our Mat Pilates Classes or PGS, we require you to do a screening with one of our physiotherapists. This permits the physio to identify the key areas you need to work on, and they will determine whether Pilates or PGS is most suitable for you. Screenings, PGS and Physio-supervised Pilates Classes can all be claimed through your private health fund.
Reformer Pilates Classes
Our Reformer Pilates Classes are taught by Mirka Kubeckova, a highly qualified instructor who works closely with our Physio team. The Pilates Reformer equipment is designed to offer resistance during exercise to improve the recruitment of key stability muscles. These classes will help you improve your posture, and your overall health and fitness.
Packages, Terms and Yearly Enrolment
We offer 6 week packages, terms and yearly enrolments for PGS and Pilates Classes. You are also most welcome to attend casually. All exercise sessions must be pre-booked.
Our Beach Studio
Seabeyond is our beach studio, located at 92 Marine Parade, Maroubra. Overlooking the water, this studio is used for Yoga and Pilates Classes, and is an excellent location for a walk or run before or after your class.
